Benjamin Turner guilty of a burglary in the dwelling house of  John Kent in the parish of Dudley on 20h May 1780: stealing therefrom 17 watches with inside and outside cases of silver (valued at £40), a watch with the inside case of silver and the outside one of shagreen (valued at 40/-), a watch wit the inside case of silver and the outside one of muskin (valued at 40/-), a watch with both inside and outside cases of metal (valued at 40/-), a pair of silver watch cases (valued at 10/-), a pair of metal watch cases (valued at 10/-), a child’s Corral mounted in silver (valued at 40/-), 10 ounces of silver (valued at 50/-), 7 pairs of iron clock hands (valued at 3/-), a pair of silver tea tongs (valued at 2/-) and a silver seal (valued at 2/-).
